Open Sky (formerly Queer Sangha) serves the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered community by sharing Buddhist teachings and meditation practice in a safe and inclusive environment.
We are dedicated to providing you with a diverse and accessible experience of the dharma by embracing the wide array of lineages and traditions that exist within Buddhism. Our meetings and events are suitable for experienced and new meditators alike. Everyone is very welcome regardless of their background.
Open Sky provides a space for silent reflection, meditation instruction and practice, mutual support, dharma talks, group discussion, social events, volunteer opportunities and contemplative practice. We recognize the value in all people and strive to provide an environment that encourages an open dialogue between its members and teachers.
